 constitutes a clear and intentional infringement under the federal 
 Lanham Act. 
 
 Be advised that The barbie® doll, name, likeness, and
 character and other "barbie®" trademarks designated by ® or ™ are 
 U.S. Federally registered trademarks owned by Mattel, Inc. with all
 rights.
 
 Therefore, We hereby demand that you immediately cease and desist any and 
 all use, advertisement of the trademarked "barbie ® " name within your URL and
 website.
 
 Unless we receive confirmation by December 31, 1999 - that you have 
 ceased all use of the infirnging material, we will take immediate legal 
 action. If we we receive confirmation that the demands set forth in this
 electronic correspondance have been met by December 31, 1999, 
 we are prepared to discuss the amount and payment of damages 
 which Mattel, Inc. has suffered as a
 result of these infringements.
