This was my midterm for my advanced drawing class spring semester 2002. Our teacher taught us about warm & cool color values and how to apply them into drawing. The rules were to have a series of 5 different drawings done in pastel pencils. Each one had to have a different color palette.: 1/3cool 2/3warm, 2/3cool, 1/3warm, our favorite colors, our least favorite colors(i dont have least favorite colors so this one was hard), & nocturnal (predominantly dark colors, light colors over dark, etc).

The following pictures are the finished results in order that I drew them. All together this project took me over 24 hours...I was still pretty unfamilar with pastel pencils but the more time I spent on this project the more I got comfortable working with them. The first one took me 8 hours, and the last one took me 4.
