This was interesting to make. This was done for my advanced
art class. The point of this piece was to make something we
were not personally attached to, so she had us get a piece
of paper as big as we were, then had us attach it to the wall
and draw a quick sketch of something our mother would like
for 10 minutes. Then after that she made us switch with the
person next to us and told us to draw geometric shapes over
them, then we were to switch back to our original drawings
and turn our papers upside down and draw anything for the
next 10 minutes. Then we had to switch again and basically
'mess up' the other persons drawing....then take our original
drawing home and do whatever we wanted with it, but to not
get attached to it...so this is what i came up with.
I used pastel pencils, markers, glitter, thread, acrylic
paint, guashe & charcoal.
