This piece was done using makeup, faux hair, gems & earrings. This was my advanced drawing class final. Our teacher told us to come up with something using objects and materials that you would not find at an art store. So I thought drawing a face using only makeup would be perfect. I used foundation, blush and powder for the cheeks, chin & forhead, the shadows around the nose area are done with brown eye shadow. For the eyes I used green & blue eye shadow pencils for the iris, and liquid eye liner for the eye liner & eye lashes. For the lips I used lipstick & gloss as well as a touch of glitter which I later sprinkled over the entire piece, especially on the hair.

I then used a hair clip full of faux hair that I had and punched holes onto the face's forehead to attach the hair. I used tacky glue to secure the hair into place which took all night to dry. The backround is all done with blush. I added earrings and gems on the hair for a nice touch.
