"Mr. Hughes"

This man was my 11th grade Art teacher, Mr (Don) Hughes. He really made me believe in myself and thanks to him I continued to draw and explore my creative side. The collage/drawing entitled "That's Life" was completed after 6 long months of hard work....but I never would have been able to finish it without him! I wanted to just give up on it so many times, but he wouldn't let me!!!

I drew this a little bit after graduating from high school. I know that the porportions on this painting aren't exactly accurate, but if were to know him, you would immediately know who I'm talking about by looking at this painting. Unfortunately he has never seen this painting. I live about 30 minutes away from San Pedro now and whenever I am in the city, it is never during school hours. I want to give him the painting and I always intended to-but I never got around to it...shame on me!!!!!!
